Vitaminka joined the Aidar assault battalion as a fighter after her boyfriend left her behind to join the fighting on the eastern front of Ukraine. Many civilians and retired soldiers have raced to take up arms in the fight to defend Ukrainian soverighnty from an onbslaught of Russian aggression. Indisciminate bombings and missle strikes against non militarty targets continue daily. "All of Ukraine is a front now, there is no safety for anyone. We are all fighters for Ukraine".
