My second story for the Wachowskis, Return of the Prodigal Son, allowed me to craft a classic crime noir approach to the world of the Matrix. From the point of view of inhabitants of the city, unaware of the truth of their true existence, it tells the story of a man possessed by an Agent and what happens afterward warped by inverting the mythos of angels and devils through the lens of his life in a local Catholic Church, Matrix style.
